THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building, tracking and ordering materials for structural construction work (not necessary but highly preferred).
  • They thrive in a fast paced and a team oriented environment.   
  • They get excited about construction projects as well as completing assignments on time. 
  • An individual who will do well in this position is self oriented, organized, a great communicator, and approachable.  
  • Comfortable working within a team environment at the project site in Black Canyon City, AZ.
    • Experience in self-perform batching of concrete is a plus but not necessary.
    • Working with a superintendent to help schedule work shifts, materials ordering, and subcontractor management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS

  • Performs routine duties requiring knowledge of structural engineering principles. 
  • Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work.
  • Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments.
  • Being able to communicate with subs and vendors and being able to identify and help solve any discrepancies. 
  • Knowledge of Submittal/RFI/Change process/Purchase Orders. 
  • Willing to work collaboratively and respectfully within a team environment.
  • Structures on the job consist of partial bridge demo and rebuild and CMU/Sound Walls.
  • Heavy rebar and concrete ordering and tracking.
